Mr Rafał Antczak (born in 1970) is an economist and manager with more than 20 years international and national practice in implementing projects for financial and real sector companies, governments and research institutions. Graduate of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw and Comprehensive Course in Market Economics at the Joint Vienna Institute (1997). From October 2008 to January 2017, he was related to Deloitte Consulting S.A., holding the position of the Member of the Management Board responsible, among others, for micro- and macro-economic analyses and forecasts as well as strategic and business consulting. In 2006-2008, he held the position of the Managing Director and Chief Economist of PZU Group, acting in parallel as a Member of the following Supervisory Boards: PZU Asset Management, PZU-Ukraine, PZU-Ukraine Life Insurance and UFG (Insurance Guarantee Fund). Between 2006 and 2008, he was an active lecturer at the Faculty of Management and MBA studies at the University of Warsaw. In the years 1994-2006, he was an economist at the Centre for Social and Economic Research (CASE), Scientific Foundation. He is an author of numerous publications in the domain of economics and market analyses.
In 2017-21, Vice President of the Management Board of PKO BP, supervising the Area of Enterprise Banking, Analyzes and Administration, and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PKO Leasing and PKO Faktoring as well as the Supervisory Board of PKO TU and PKO TUŻ. From December 2018, a member of the Supervisory Board of the Central Communication Port.
